Uniform Wear Days
Open Ranks Inspection (ORI)
The blue JROTC uniform must be worn on Tuesday or Wednesday of each week (whichever day your cadet has JROTC that week). Wear of the uniform is a big part of the cadet’s grade. Deviations from this policy will be posted on the Homework page.
Cadets also need to be prepared to answer questions concerning their Chain-of-Command and Core Values during the Open Ranks Inspection (ORI). Cadets will continue to be questioned until they answer correctly.
Cadets may only make up missed Uniform Wear Days (MUD) that were due to an absence. See MSgt Chatman to schedule your makeup day.
Leadership Application Training (LAT) Days
These are conducted most Mondays. The following information applies:
1. Activities will include a warmup session, stretching exercises and team building games.
2. Cadets must wear the green JROTC issued T-shirt and/or sweatshirt, shorts/sweat pants or pants, and proper footwear (i.e.-tennis shoes).
3. Grading will fall under Leadership Education and each cadet can earn a maximum of 100 points.
a. Points may be subtracted as follows:
1) 10 points for improper footwear or not properly dressed for LAT.
2) 10 points for non-participation
Note: any 3 of the above will result in an RPC.
3) 5 points for no JROTC T-shirt or sweatshirt.
4) 2 points for attitude/behavior problems.
Note: cadets may or may not receive a warning prior to point reduction.
