Uniform Guide - Chapter 6
UNIFORM WEAR - ENFORCEMENT
A. ENFORCEMENT POLICY:
Cadets of higher rank have the authority and responsibility for enforcement of uniform wear standards and proper behavior while in uniform. Should on-the-spot corrections be required, they will be made in a non-threatening, non-hostile manner. Teach proper uniform wear... DO NOT DEMAND IT BE DONE!
When making corrections, it should be done in private and as discreetly as possible. Any cadet who feels they have been treated unfairly has the right and duty to report the incident to their flight commander or an Aerospace Science Instructor. On the other hand, those receiving the correction are encouraged to accept it in the proper spirit. Any form of disrespect to a superior cadet will not be tolerated and such behavior could result in dismissal from the cadet corps!
B. HEADGEAR POLICY:
Hats will be worn anytime you are outdoors and in uniform -- coming to school, leaving school, or walking on campus, sitting at the picnic tables, etc.
Hats will not be worn indoors, while riding in a vehicle (i.e., school bus), and never in the classroom environment.
Senior cadets are also responsible for enforcement of this policy.
